Minutes of Extraordinary General Meeting.
May 2nd at Paphos Gardens Hotel. 7pm
Chairman Theo Lenos
Attendance: Names recorded
Apologies: Names recorded
The Chairman opened the meeting with thanks to all attendees and stated that the reason the meeting had been called was to obtain membership approval for changes to the Club Constitution. The changes had been debated at previous committee meetings and the committee felt the changes would be beneficial to the general management of the Club.
The Chairman then handed proceedings over to the Club President.
The President apologised for the lack of information sent with the calling noticed and stated he would run through the changes to the Constitution but first stated that the constitutional aim of the Club would remain unchanged.
The President summarised the changes, the Club colours would be decided on an annual basis by the committee and the committee would be reduced from the existing 14 members to 7.
The President then described the proposed Terms of Reference for the President, Life Vice Presidents and Committee members and stated that if the changes were approved then these would be the duties of the committee elected by the general membership at the AGM in June.
A general discussion from the floor focused mainly on the appointment and roles of sub-committee members and their recruitment. No dissent or adverse comment regarding the proposed changes was voiced so the President asked for a vote that the changes to the Constitution be approved.
The vote by show of hands was unanimous in favour of the changes to the Constitution.
The Chairman again thanked all for attending.
Meeting closed 7:40pm

The Tigers now have a "home" ground and this must be the biggest opportunity ever presented to us to interact with the communities that surround us and bring to them the benefits that rugby offers. No one person can do it...we must be a team from top to bottom.
